About the studio & artist

East 2 West Edges started off as a mosaic art studio. Now, it has become a stained glass art studio. Each piece is made to brighten the area you desire by filtering colored light and displaying fun and exciting images throughout the day! With multiple glass styles, pop culture art, propagation stations, animals, and not your average animals, to name a few, you'll surely find the perfect piece to complement any space.

Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, ensuring that no two are exactly alike! The name is quite literal as I traveled from coast to coast! I hope you enjoy my pieces and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me. (Name change is still on the table, but not 100%)

Production process

In the production studio, the process of making stained glass from start to finish generally takes at least two weeks (bulk). This is because of all the different stages of creation and limited space. It starts with an image which is turned into a stencil that is traced onto your glass. The glass is then cut out and ground to smooth the edges for proper placement. The pieces are cleaned and the edges are covered with copper foil then soldered together. Once the image is complete it is cleaned, stained,  polished, some pieces painted, and the chain, stand, and/or tubes are added to fully complete the stained glass piece.
